I only finished my current build 7 months ago so just moving it into a new case. Building Timbo one from scratch in my old case.

All we have for taht so far is a case and GPU

ive got a brand new never used thermaltake 430w p/s model XP550 pp u can have for the price of the courier . approx $15.00 north island.. and to buy value about $65.00?... and i got a brand new logitech G9 mouse with a tin of weights that comes with it , i used for 1 minute and i didnt like it . any reasonable offer +courier...

Now as i don't know these things why do case designers place the PS at the bottom? doesn't heat rise into the MB and Graphics card area ?

The PSU is put at the bottom to make the case more balanced whilst moving it. Generally the PSU is mounted so it sucks cold air from a vent in the bottom of the case out through the grill at the back. Therefore not taking up and of the air from the case.

Cable management could be better but i don't have a modular psu so that makes it a bit harder. Also i didn't want to sleve every cable to make it nice and black.
