My BFBC2 Issuse

Sort of fix, Alt Tab out of the game then back in, sometimes the game crashes when I do this. I always die and have to respawn. It always happens at the start of a map/ map change over but not every map change over.

mine sometimes if i haven't restarted in a while it goes all funny but i just alt tab out then back in and its fixed

I cannot alt tab out ever or i need to restart my pc. Everything locks up

I can ALt TAb it takes a few goes and if you stay out to long it will crash BFBC2, right pain in the arse to swap vent channels. Both cores of my cpu are running at 95%

This is the same problem I posted about 3 weeks ago (White screen of death)

Most people are getting the white screen but there is alot reporting the black screen with perts of the game still remaining. This has been a problem for some time and the numbers of people reporting this problem is growing.

Both ATI and Nvidia users are experiencing this so people are convinced its not a Graphics Driver or Hardware problem so that only leaves (Microsoft,EA,DICE) But no one has come to the table with a fix or an apology.
Most people are saying its from the last Patch and are waiting for the next patch to fix it but same say its from a windows update.

One thing is for shore from what of read the problem most affects people with a 64bit Operating system or people with (SLI,Crossfire,MGPU,Low end GFX Cards) I never Had this problem with my old GTX280 SLI setup but because I now use a GTX295 = Multi GPU I get the whit screen of death after about 20-40 min of play ( I'm lucky because most people get the lockup after the MAP LOADS)

I managed to reduce my problem by lowering my CPU Over-Clock from 3.8 to 3.0 as I read about this fix and it has helped me and I mite even set my CPU back to Default. Still Fucks me off having to do this Because like most people are saying ( Why should we have to reset a stable OC CPU just to Play when we never had to before or for any other game)

Here is a number of other fixes people have suggested as it helped them.

*Set the Games ini settings DX version from auto to 9 to force 9 not 10,11
*Under-clock your GPU a bit
*Use an old GFX Driver
*Change the BFBC2game.exe to BF2.exe
*Set your GFX fan speed to 80-100%
*Set all game settings to medium and AA to 2

All I can think of at this time I hope mabe this helped you.

I am still running XP, did not have to problem in the beta or with my old 8800gt, but that was before the patch. Tried most of these, only ever does it on map changeover

I had a windows update yesterday and just installed Nvidias new Driver 4 hours ago and I dont have that problem anymore (CPU back to 3.8GHz)

i just installed my new GFX card ATI 5850 installed the latest drivers and BFBC2 loads about 2 secs go to a white screen then crashes to desktop
Any one know what to do?
