Interwebs problems

I've been having problems with the interwebs ever since I got this computer. Running 7 64bit, and also have 2 laptops with vista, 1 with xp and a macbook on the network. Every hour or so (although sometimes I last for 3 or so hours, and sometimes for only 15 minutes) the internet will drop on the machines running 7 and vista, but is still fine on the xp and macbook. Am wondering if anyone else experiences similar problems with 7, or if it's a router issue. Am assuming it's a microsoft problem currently as the tech support forums seem to be full of people complaining about net issues on 7.

Anyone with a bit more knowledge than me able to assist?

wired or wireless?

i am win 7 64bit and wireless have have no trouble and my brother who is wired hasn't has any and hes got both vista and win 7 64

if its wireless might be your card or adapter
if not try a diff router and see if that works

I'm wired, the laptops are all wireless. I'll try a diff router.
