Today the GeForce GTX 590 is released. Pretty much NVIDIA in a nutshell, took two of their best GPUs, placed it onto one card, topped it off with a very nice cooler and calls that a single solution graphics card. Internally on that card however a small NF200 chip functions as PCI Express bridge in-between the two GPUs and sure, that means SLI in full effect.
The release today however is very interesting, it's one the most silent multi-GPU solution we have ever had our hands on, the performance really is breathtaking and the power consumption, though high, remains acceptable.

That's because its 2 GTX580 in one witch is about the same as buying 2 GTX 580 each for a SLI setup at around $850 - $1000 each. So is not hard to see why it would be priced so high.
Should run much better if they had used nvidia latist WHQL Driver support for it.
Forceware 267.84 WHQLThis Driver adds support for the new GeForce GTX 590 dual-GPU graphics card, including support for Quad SLI when paired with a second GeForce GTX 590 card.

Yeah for the extra 10 FPS :)
? No other single card is 10 FPS slower than this at the settings they used
are you using the same settings. They use HBAO set to ON in BC2
Any way I'm not promoting the card I just like to keep the forums up to date with new Tech stuff out there ie ( GPU CPU etc ) I like to read the reviews when the new stuff hits the street so I put it in here for others to enjoy to.

It was not a dig at you Hats, it was a dig at the video card companys, they bring out these new cards with big $$$ on them for only a few fps better than the old ones, in some cases the old cards perform better!!!!
It looks pretty thou :PDT_Armataz_01_28[1:PDT_Armataz_01_28[1

First off, let me compliment Gigabyte for being creative. We've missed this a lot ever since a year or two ago. A snug but most of all sturdy package. The toolbox case is complimentary to the card. You'll receive two PEG power (8-pin) converters, one DisplayPort converter (mini to regular) and a DVI to DSUB converter. Next to that a manual and drivers.

Adjustable sensitivity up to 4000 dpi
Support 15 customizable onboard settings with macro editing
8KB GHOST Engine onboard memory
Scroll wheel with 24 individual click position

Easy "Up-down" DPI adjustment button
Sweat-Proof Ergonomic streamline shape
Ultra-Durable slick Teflon feet
Gaming-grade USB cable with gold-plated USB connector
