Gents, the time has come to ditch my 19" CRT monitor (since it makes my desk sit 6" out from the wall!).

I'm thinking I might go for a 22"+ widescreen. Is there anything I should look out for? I seem to recall a lot of websites advertising 5ms or 2ms refresh rates or something like that.

I'm not back yet. I figure this way I can order one over the net have it sitting on the doorstep when my wife gets home one night this week. That way she has a month to cool off and I get a new monitor as soon as I get home.

I also can't be effed taking a CRT monitor to the states.

False advertising sorry Clint, please don't report me to the commerce comission. Are you sure some of the other tags didn't pull you in? It's ok, you're among friends here! Shhhhhhhhhhh

I think your computer case will look dull with a new monitor, I think you need a new case to go with your monitor with shiny new bits in it. She has got a month after all, and she wont start hassling you for at least a week after you get home. :08[1]::24[1]::06[1]::22[1]:

Not sure on delivery yet, have to make a D on which one to get.

What do you guys think of these? My preference at this time is to go for the LG as I know the brand, but the 24" Viewsonic looks allright too:
