WTB Double Cab ute

Hey guys,

Im reaching a sad time in my life where i have to sell my Holden V8 ute and get a double cab diesel ute. :bawling[1]:

I have gone through Trademe and there are heaps of them. Im looking at Toyota Hilux, Ford courier or Mazda Bounty around the 7-9k maybe 10k mark and 1996-2000. Do any of you guy know much about these or had much to do with them?

Any good/bad experiances?

I drive a 2001 d/cab 4wd rodeo. Pretty happy with it.

From experience, Hiluxes are just unstoppable, but because of that you will pay more for an older example than the other models you are looking at.

IIRC I got my ute for 17.5k, and would have been looking at least 7k higher for a comparable Hilux.

Yeah I have noticed that, i guess it's for a reason though.

I have a Rodeo on my watch list, looks ok from Halswell :)
