Ordered mine yesterday.... Having a lot of problems setting up mouse in the beta version.. Did anyone have any problems :PDT_Armataz_01_19[1 ??? G5 mouse...
yeah ill be getting it.
no issues here bren, im using G5
bren, there have been alot of problems with the mouse because as people change controls they arre bumping the mouse and that changes movement of the mouse to a key function.
Try resetting to default and if your changing your controls be extra careful not to move the mouse at all while setting keys

Hell no Bren, this is exactly what the brain needs :PDT_Armataz_01_36[1 My Dad said the other day that he feels that the gaming probably helps out as it keeps your brain stimulated as-well as your reflexes... could be abit tricky on the heart though (esp if you are scriming against GForce). :eek:

lol, no probs with him being in Aust either Zavrix. I recon he would love the extra dimension that being in a clan brings to the game.... Being on vent with a buch of guys playing on the same map is just the best thing!

I've read that the people who pre-ordered it were either rung today that you could pick it up or they were holding onto the copy. I went to the St Lukes EB games and got the last one.

lol, nope its arrived but it is slightly damaged, looks like the bloody courier company have dropped something on it as a couple of the clips inside the box have broken off and marked the dvd and the outer case is damaged, thank god it still installs okay.

Punkbuster Disconnection Issues
We are aware that some customers have been experiencing issues connecting to Bad Company 2 servers due to Punkbuster. We have manually updated all of the servers to the latest version of Punkbuster so you will need to update your game client version manually if you continue to experience issues.
As indicated at the bottom of the game in the news ticker, if you are experiencing PB issues you need to try the following:
# Uninstall the BETA of Bad Company 2 if you ever had this installed.
# Manually update Punkbuster. You can do this by visiting http://websec.evenbalance.com/downloader/download.php?file=1 and downloading PBSetup from there.
Once PBSetup is installed press the Add Game button and select Bad Company 2 as a game. Then click browse and select the location your game is installed to. The location of your installation can vary depending upon whether you have the Steam version, store-bought version or the EA downloader version. For the store-bought version the game is likely installed in C:/Program Files. For steam it will be in C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/battlefield bad company 2/.
Set the location and press Add Game and you should now see the game listed within PBSetup along with versions of PB listed under the client version and server version columns.
Press the Check for Updates button and wait for it to finish and you should now be able to play.
Alternatively we can turn PB off for on your server until Punkbuster and/or Dice fix the issues, however we have to turn off ranking also as servers are not allowed to be ranked without PB running.

Have you updated the game with the updated.exe file with in the game.
Single player is great. Still cant work out how im ment to join any server with a ping below 300 because i still cant find any so havnt played online at all
After reading all your guys' comments I finally went out and bought the game yesterday. Given that the OCD series is literally the only FPS I've played in the last 5 years it is taking a bit of effort to get used to the change!

Nice one Pronto, COD is the only FPS I played as well but I don't think I will be playing a cod game for a very long time if at all. It does take awhile to get use to BFBC2 but I'm sure you will love it once you have played it for a few weeks.

I'm finding it quite hard to knock people down - looks like I might have to make more of an effort to aim for the upper chest.

Medal of Honor, Red faction, & Cod games FPS for me....this game will grow on you fast....give it 15hrs game play over the next week or so and unlock some of the perks/gadgets...and you will enjoy it Pronto. A lot more realism to a game war then COD...games:PDT_Armataz_01_34[1

Yep - the first mission where there were tanks got me addicted. If a keep this up I'll have to start scheduling time to talk to Mrs Pronto so I don't come home from work, procrastinate on my assignments, and play all night.

Bloody hell been on Aussie servers last couple of days and start off with 47 ping and when in game it goes up to 450-600 ping .. I think I am dead before I fire the shot LOL....:FIREdevil[1]:
