is it good ? or is BAD ?!!
frustrating...cant seem to enter servers.
Every time I try to enter a server I get a message saying its either full or my connection is down.

So far Iv only played about 2.5 hours and in that time I was enjoying it a lot.
I found it very addictive and couldn't seem to pull my self away.
It really really is a big game something Iv been missing since the day of COD UO:PDT_Armataz_01_36[1 Cant wait to unlock all the GUN candy lol cant wait to unlock the G3 at level 22.
Game sounds =9/10
Game Graphs at max = 8/10
game play = 9/10
This game is going to be around a log time and it has excellent support and guaranteed down loadable updates. I think its overall games play SHITS on COD MW2
So far only 1 things bug me no ping info or in game server info
Give it 8.75/10 so far :PDT_Armataz_01_34[1
Have updated game and PB yet when i join servers my game either crashes "loses connection" or i get PB kicked for it not initialising.
Cant find any nz/auz servers and doing the trick to add them in game settings like beta wont work.
Single player is great.
Im fucking pissed tho. I have 20 times more bugs in this than in the beta.

Having a lot of fun but a bit peeved that it still seems to take a lot to kill the enemy or is it just the high ping ???
I guess I am used to when you hit some one a couple of times they are gone .. As an example I have several times emptied a whole mag at an ememy and yet they still kill me with a couple of shots..:bawling[1]:
Eye candy is very good. love the use of vehicles .. Go the quad bike oh yessss:PDT_Armataz_01_34[1.

The game is great its good to play something new and different from COD....
but the connection problems sux big time. Cant join servers wit 30 - 50 ping...only been able to play when choosing "play now" option which sends me to over seas servers and the rego is crap... ( I can see it in the history of which ones I been playing at and they all over 150+ping...my stat's says it all...lol....
Now this morning cant connect to EA online....
Was looking for some solutions and found these...

For those having problems playing online this is a few things that helped me. I uninstalled PB then reinstalled. I run it as administrator ,and when i refresh the servers i press cancel after about 15 to 20 seconds. For some reason this works for me. After i press cancel after about 2 seconds the list pops up with pings and all. Sorry some are having problems ,but I'm a having a blast ,and i have yet to see any lag.

Open those ports and you should have a better time finding servers. I was able to join the first one I tried after opening them.

we're onto a winner with this game. yeah, theres connection problems, pb problems, and server browser problems - but its early days yet, give them a chance and they'll sort it
morph, have you uninstalled the beta and deleted the different folders it leaves? i found 1 in "my documents" and another 1 in program files (using xp)
also i find the nz/aussie servers don't turn up when you open the browser initially, but when i refresh it a few turn up

I made sure to uninstall PB first before installing the new one and have not had a problem from day 1. only thing is there are alot of servers full
another thing that mite be in my favor is the fact I never installed the Beta at all so its not in my Reg
Try restarting you modem (you never know mite be over looked)
Ps I put the new version of PB on my C:/ and in my BFB2 PB folder and updated it from the PB folder with in the game....... (never know mite help)
Yea man iv un-installed everything and followed all instructions on the bfbc2 forums I cant get it to fucking work. Its driving me nuts. I had it all uninstalled a week ago because i didnt want it to interfear. Had all the program files gone and the settings in the documents folder all gone before install
They have done something because it works !!!
and oh is it good..........
Sniping is much better. Squad Deathmatch is great and the maps are tops

Ranked Server Host and New Clan/Rental Servers

As you are aware from discussions on the forums, we have been having server load issues over the past few days which has affected game performance and even game stability for some players. As part of reducing server load we asked all our server hosts to shut down the EA Public servers while we work at optimizing the server browser in game to handle the large amounts of servers. Also as part of this server load cut backs, we have requested that the server providers do not put up anymore clan/rented servers either. This decision was made to reduce the impact on you guys when you are in game from affects such as slow server browser refresh, inaccurate server information refreshing and some of the other issues you have been seeing.
The server hosts can still take your orders and answer your questions but until we have made changes to keep server load down they won't be able to fill your order and put up your servers.
So you all don't worry about whether this means you can't get into a server be assured, there is enough server capacity to allow everyone to get into a server and play. It might not be your favourite server or server provider but you can still get in there and get dogtags from someone new.
Thanks for your patience and we hope to allow the hosts to put up servers again for you all as soon as possible.

That's a fair call. When W@W and MW2 were getting hammered on the official game forums the developer kept deleting all the negative posts.
Good on these guys for not just fixing a fault, but being open about it and keeping everyone in the loop.

At first I was thinking it was going to be another MW2.... But then I got on the MB server with a bunch of MBs and started enjoying gaming again...
This game gets a 7/10..... Fixes such as server browser etc woyuld lift the game a point or 2...

I'm pinging around the 47 to our server wabs, not sure if there are any nz servers at all at this stage. This morning when trying to use the browser it just failed and I had no servers come up at all :-(

My thoughts (from a newbie perspective - only level 4 right now)
POSITIVES
- awesome graphics
- maps (at least the RUSH) ones seem pretty good - no toooooo much running to the battle
- class and progression seems reasonable too
- the vehicle dimension rocks!
- will be even better when you are squading it and talking over venti, etc
NEGATIVES
- the Punkbuster and server connection issues
- the game seems to support snipers (which gets thin when you get spawn camped)
- not tild command
Overall, its certainly enough to get me into it. Buying and building rig over the next two weeks.

Yeah G, bloody punk buster issues for most people at the moment.
Concur with houli but when getting spawn camped by snipers easy to overcome with a squad with two medics included lol.
nah, i make a point of sniping the medics first
Mudd, I understand you are a demon with the rifle.
I took a HUGE amount of satisfaction the other day by killing 4 snipers with my knife all within 10 seconds of each other. They had all camped up and forgot to look behind them.

The lack of "prone" is taking a lot of getting used to.
I was shooting at some guy from behind a wall yesterday and had to reload. I went into crouch for the reload and he wasted me with a headshot. If there was a prone option he would not have had a chance.
While I'm on it... I take it there is no chat in game (from the lack of 13 year olds spamming bs in global), but see that you can still gg at the end of the round.
How do you bring the chat console up?

very good game
feels a bit more realistic than COD.... and technically harder to acheive any objectives
alot of fun

I have had that sort of problem, but seems ok now .. Did not have to reinstall..

Was playing today and having a blister of a game ..ping 55 and kills from hell then the bloody server went off line so no credit for all those kills .. BUGGA

For some reason the game froze up on me twice today on our server, had been playing on a different server in the morning and no trouble. If you were to read the posts on the BFBC2 fourms you would see that a lot of people are having issues with the game from crashing to the desktop, random freezes, not being able to connect to ea etc etc etc the list goes on.
try alt + esc then once onto desk top alt+del to get out of the game.
