Have been having a few problems getting some programs I use to run. Tried virtual XP which worked at first but now doesn't. I have turned off UAC, but I am still not sure I have enough rights to some programs, even though I am an administrator. Have not been able to find anything on Google helpfull enough to fix the problem, donot really want to have a dual boot laptop :cry[1]:

Whats the program you are trying to run?

It is called flash writer 2 it installs Linux on to a compact flash card to run in the bag making machines I service. I think I have got it using the vitual pc, then if I click on the usb icon and unshare it, it seems to work :)
Got a printer problem that I have not been able to sort yet (no Driver) and have fixed a problem with filezilla. So am slowly getting there.

Yep I think it is a permissions problem, even though I am using an administrator account the account still has a lock symbol on it, which I can not seem to remove.
